Microsoft's .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 1 came out last month. Now that we've been running it a while, I just want to quickly say "wow". That was a long list of improvements but one that sticks out here at ORCS Web is the memory improvements. When hosting thousands of managed web applications for customers and reviewing their architecture, tracking resource trends, and analyzing performance - shifts in resource usage are noticed. The lower RAM consumption from customers utilizing .Net 2.0 was quite noticeable. Great job dealing with that Microsoft!
